Dear Residents and Families,
I trust this correspondence finds you well. The purpose of this communication is to provide a comprehensive update on the ongoing situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic at Marple Gardens Rehabilitation & Nursing.
Regrettably, we have received confirmation that two residents have tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number of positive cases among our residents to two since the onset of the current outbreak. In response to this development, our dedicated team has promptly conducted contact tracing, ensuring that all exposed residents have been tested. I am relieved to report that all exposed individuals have tested negative for COVID-19.
In adherence to established guidelines, we will be conducting regular testing of both exposed residents and staff on days 1, 3, and 5. Our commitment to following the directives set forth by CMS and the Local County Department of Health remains unwavering.
As an additional precautionary measure, we are implementing a mandatory mask requirement throughout the 1 Main Unit. Group activities just on 1 Main are currently canceled, however individual activity packets will be given out for the unit.
Your patience and understanding during these challenging times are greatly appreciated. We recognize the collective effort required from each member of our community to navigate through this situation successfully.
Wishing you a safe and healthy week ahead.
